Renaldo Chung, Musical Theater Legend

Renaldo Chung, Musical Theater Legend

Ask a Celebrity Anything is KTSJ -28’s signature (and only) web series (and other content) that brings you up close and personal with your favorite stars. This season, the one, the only, musical theater legend (in certain circles) Renaldo Chung!

Filling the void left behind by the end of such beloved and esteemed shows as Mad Men, Parks and Recreation, and Revenge, Ask a Celebrity Anything is your window into the lives of the world famous (for contributions to Santa Clara County's Chamber of Commerce). Past seasons have showcased cultural juggernauts like Martin Simms, Palo Alto’s number two breadmaker, Justine Platt-Fitz-McArthur, the woman behind Mountain View’s fitness craze Snakedancing (June 2004), Gregory Garcia, the inventor of chocolate raisin flavored toothpaste, and Sting, a singer-songwriter.

This season brings you the show’s most special guest to date: Renaldo Chung. His name, of course, is as synonymous with musical theater as Idina Menzel and Audra McDonald* and he has lit up the San Jose (non-union, ethnic) stage for the past ten years (give or take four). Renaldo is taking time out from his frantically busy schedule to answer fan questions live via the Internet for thirteen episodes—which is the same number of episodes as a typical series on Netflix.**

Tune in every Thursday for the most eagerly awaited phenomenon since the invention of the Internet (‘s last season of Ask a Celebrity Anything).

* Renaldo has never performed with them

** Ask a Celebrity Anything is not affiliated with Netflix

KTSJ Channel 28 no longer has its broadcasting license due to an unfortunate and as-yet unsubstantiated claim of racketeering, but it's re-invented itself as the premiere online destination for Millennials and Generation X (based on a study commissioned by KTSJ). No longer just for the deaf or hearing-impaired, KTSJ is the number one source for “entertainment” programming in all of Santa Clara County (not including Gilroy).
